panorama views

This set of images were taken with a holga medium format camera, scanned and assembled in together as a panorama.  The holga's "toy" lens added nicely to the softness of the image while maintaining the reflection of the buildings in the water.

blue water bridges
This group of images were acquired with a Pentax K110d DSLR and a Cokin Infrared filter then assembled in Adobe Photoshop (tm) to form a panoramic view of the Blue Water Bridges.  It was a deeply overcast day which has left the sky a white instead of the typical black with clouds.  The other interesting point of this image verses the one above taken in medium format is the vertical depth of the image.  While digital is fast and easy, medium format film still holds a special place in my heart.

The image was assembled by stitching together 5 image taken in portrait mode using Adobe Photoshop (tm).  The Images where taken with a Olympus Camedia C-2000 and a Hoya R72 Infrared filter attached.  The day was rather over cast and shutter priority mode was used.  The colors rendered in the image are as registered by the camera and where not retouched in Photoshop.  The Camedia C-2XXX series camera poses an unusual sensitivity to infrared light which yielded these colors, thus making them highly sought after.
